休日、カメラを片手に見慣れた街を歩く。
写真を撮るのが好き、と言っても技術は完全に趣味の領域。
プロのような写真は撮れない。
それでもずっと憧れていた「FUJIFILM X-A5」をようやく中古で見つけ手に入れた日からいつもの散歩が少しだけ特別なものに変わった。
お出かけのついでにファインダー越しに世界を覗く。
素人ゆえに、自分の思った通りの光や色を切り取れることなんて本当にごくレアな奇跡。
だからこそ時折「これだ」と思える1枚が撮れた瞬間は、子供のように嬉しくなってしまう。

On my days off, I walk through familiar streets, camera in hand. I love taking photos, but my skills are strictly those of a hobbyist. I can’t take professional shots.
Still, ever since I finally found and bought a secondhand FUJIFILM X-A5—a camera I had dreamed of for so long—my everyday walks have felt just a little more special.
I look at the world through the viewfinder on my casual outings. Being an amateur, capturing the exact light and colors I picture in my mind is a rare miracle indeed.
That is precisely why, on those rare occasions when I capture that perfect shot, I can’t help but feel as thrilled as a child.
